About: Aberdeen Maternity Hospital / Obstetrics (Maternity care)

(as the patient),

Having a medical condition myself, childbirth was always at the back of my mind and a bit of a worry during pregnancy.

I was induced early due to reduced movement. The staff at the hospital put my at ease and I knew what was happening every step of the way. My midwife (Mel, I think) was absolutely superb and helped in delivering my beautiful baby girl fairly drama free.

I cannot express my thanks to the medical team and my midwife who were brilliant!

Many congratulations on the birth of your wee girl!

Thank you so much for taking time out to post your feedback on Patient Opinion. It is just wonderful to hear that you had such a supportive environment when things were not as straightforward as I am sure you would have liked. You mention knowing what was going on and we recognise how important this is for expectant mums in labour.
