"They saved my life"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

(as the patient),

I spent August to December on ward 22.. They saved my life, cared for me and my family and although I was expected to die they never gave up on me. The staff became not only my carers but also my friends. I know my time left is limited and I also know when I start to deteriorate I will feel secure if I can go back to that ward.
