(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I have recently had Family Support from Sure Start. I loved having a worker for help and support, it gave me someone to off load too and gave me advice where and when needed.

I had a lot of support around budgeting and spending. This helped me alot.

They also encouraged me to attend a local Sure Start group and to get out.

Thank you to Fran and to Sure Start.

Thankyou for taking the time to tell us your story and being able to talk in confidence to someone you trust and tell things that are worrying you. Staff in the Children's Centre are highly experienced in supporting families who may need a little extra advice about issues personal to them.

We are pleased to hear you have started to go out and attend groups. Making a circle of friends who have children can help you share your eperiences of being a parent and help them as well if experiencing similar issues to you. Please keep in touch with us.
