I am currently attending the Eye Clinic at York on a regular basis and the care and treatment I have received has been first class. My consultant and her team have been extremely kind and thorough in attempting to find the cause of my problem.
Whilst I have experienced delays waiting for my appointment I know such delays are often as a result of the medical team having to deal with the unexpected emergencies. For example on two occasions I attended what I thought were going to be routine check ups but to be advised I required immediate laser treatment, on both occasions I received this treatment within 30 minutes of the problem being diagnosed which will have caused long delays for those waiting patiently behind me in the queue
