My wife was giving birth to our 3rd child.
First was at LRI which was a nightmare.
Second at LGH much better experience.
Third was here at LGH and all i can say is amazing.
My wife went in a few days early as she was quite big but was in alot of pain, she stayed in the ward for a few days where she was very well looked after, from food to roulet trips.
She went into labour at around 4 am after a midwife made her do some excercises on a birth ball.
From the time she was in labour we were never left alone,
Always being monitored, very helpful midwives.
My baby was born at 9.12 lbs as you can imagine mustve been a very hard delivery but the midwives were very supportive all the way through, monitoring every single aspect from contractions to back pain to heart beat.
One of the best delivery suites you can go to and would definately reccomend everybody to use LGH and NOT LRI.
"Best maternity unit"
