My mum was admittted to A&E from Skegness where she was on holiday.
My brother and I were called as an emergency and stayed in Boston for the week.
Initially, mum was cared for on the Acute Medical Unit and, despite the severity of patients and how obviously busy the staff nurses and doctors worked, our care, wellbeing and understanding of mum's condition was always at the forefront of their mind. Thank you.
She was then moved to Ward 8A and again, the care and hospitality were the same. We were hundreds of miles from home yet strangely, we felt at home. Each and everyone of you deserve medals for the long hours you work, care, patience, level of knowledge and specialism shown - I salute you, admire you and thank you. The ward was run in military fashion, clean, welcoming and got my mum back on track keeping us fully informed by the hour - apoligies if we got in the way! With love, from Middlesbrough. We cannot thank you enough xx
"Thank you"
