"Consultants need to wash their hands like everyone else"

i was recently in the R.U.H for an operation, when i came across a most self righteous specialist.

He refused to wash his hands or alcohol gel them before touching my operation sites. this i found totally lapse as i have had the MRSA bug 3 times before.

he also told me i was too lazy for the operation - I'm a paraplegic, what does he want me to do?

Its not just the nurses/visitors and patients - its the doctors too!
