"Not being supplied with patients prescribed medication"

I have been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and a couple of weeks ago I was emotionally upset when the anniversary of my departed sons birthday came in May and I found myself in deep depression and I couldn't get over the upset that I was going through and I tried to use beer and marijuana which only blotted out my thoughts and I forgot to take my prescribed medication, I did have alarm notifications on my mobile phone but unintentionally forgot to charge the batteries, and one of my prescribed medications was to take 400 mgs of tramadol per day which I have been taking for nearly four to five years without missing any dosage in that time, but due to my confusion I missed 1200mgs along with my other prescribed medication and I started to go into withdrawal symptoms, I live on my own and I was feeling very anxious and I couldn't breathe properly and extremely confused, but luckily my eldest son came to visit me and he found me in a very poor state, he called me an ambulance which took me to the Leicester royal infirmary, where after admission I was placed on to a ward, now the crucks of the mater was that they never gave me my prescribed medications, only a couple of them although my son had supplied them with all my medication, so I was still having withdrawal symptoms which I found horrific and very frightening, I was hallucinating, cold sweating confused and afraid, for three days they gave me a couple of my prescribed medication when I should take twelve tablets a day along with three different types of inhalers,

My concern is that whenever anyone who gets admitted to a hospital shoul be given thier usual medication as prescrbed in every case, you are supposed to be in hospital to get better not to go through a detox, even befor I left they gave me two weeks of medication gon a dosit card and even then it wasn't all my prescribed medication the whole experience was a nightmare and for some older patients it could be life threatening, thankyou, DMG
