RVI - observation ward. Last place saloon. In my expereicne, the place where the majority of staff don't care. I have bipolar disorder which is like living in a nightmare some of the time and heaven the rest of the time. This can switch from day to day. Took a serious overdose ( judge me or not - but watch whose shoes you wish to walk in). 6 hrs before the ambulance arrived. My husband and daughter were on night watch. Got admitted put in a bed put on the drip, monitor etc and then left. Felt staff treated me with total comtemp- I lived on a blood pressure monitor for 3 days (except when I needed the loo). My left upper arm is now in constant pain and have less movement. 3 days - tea water and a few left over sandwich for lunch. No evening meal - I am an intelligent woman with a serious mental disorder. I fight it every day - I hold down a great job, I love and support my family, I am a good person, but felt that I was treated no more than a stray dog
"No care"
