The patients are however extremely bored as there are not any Television facilities.
This leads to the patients wondering around, when most of them are fall patients and need two nurses to walk them.
Televisions in there to me is a must - it gives them back their routine and they know the time of day. It also stimulates their mind.
Will stop them getting so bored and then frustrated.
Please can you see what you can do to provide TVs for Elgar house first floor

Dear Ms Hearsey - thank you for taking the time and trouble to post your views of the staff commitment you have witnessed on the Elgar Wards and for your suggestions about the provision of televisions (TVs) to assist with patient entertainment.
I can advise that TVs are on order for Elgar House (and Brunel wards). Their arrival is being progressed by our Information Management & Technology department who are monitoring current progress and will undertake the installation work to set up the TVs.
I hope this information is helpful to you and reassures you action is in hand.
