I have found the answerphone service for the EPU is inadequate with no call backs happening for hours. I waited three and half hours for a return call that didn't happen so called back only to have to leave another message as noone answers the phone. The staff I have met, while friendly, don't appear to have any sense of urgency. I had to make appointments to attend (if I can ever get through!) and was left in limbo during a very stressful and scary time worried about my pregnancy.
I was told on Friday lunchtime could I come on Tuesday for medical treatment of my miscarriage because they'd be 'less busy'.
The patient experience leaves a lot to be desired and I have been left feeling uncared for by the trust, let down by the service, and will not be using East Surrey for my future pregnancies.
