(as a relative),

My partner was taken in to A & E on Monday 9th May at approx 12 lunch time with

chest pain and difficulty breathing. He was given an ECG and diagonised in having heart attack, he was quickly transferred to theatre to have s stent put in. I was informed as to everything that was going on. He was transferred to ward 6 and what can I say about the care, it was excellent from all members of staff, from housekeeper, nurses, doctors, ward clerks all amazing. You hear all negative things about Heartlands I can truly say all the staff were fantastic

Thank you very much for your kind comments about the treatment and care provided to your partner during his recent attendance and admission, firstly at Accident and Emergency, with transfer of care to our Cardiology Team.

I am so pleased to read that he was assessed and treated quickly and that all of the treatment and care provided was excellent, and the staff were all fantastic!

I will ensure that your lovely feedback is highlighted to H Clemson, Matron for A&E, Dr O Erinfolami, Clinical Director for A&E, as well as H Lane, Matron for Cardiology and Dr M Pitt, Clinical Director for Cardiology who will all be thrilled to read your comments and ensure that it is highlighted to their respective teams who all work extremely hard to look after their patients and provide quality patient care.

I hope my actions are acceptable and once again thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback, it is extremely important to us.
