Earlier this year I went to the Hallamshire hospital, and stayed on wards L1 and J2 and the neurology clinic M floor. I has encephalitis, after several weeks in hospital and several tests it was found that I am gluten sensitive.
I am only 17 and was very ill. The nursing staff and doctors and consultants did everything they could possibly do to find out what was causing my illness and try to cure it.
The parking could have been better. My parents visited me twice a day everyday and found parking very difficult. Also at times myself and my parents seemed to be kept in the dark about what was happening. I would have appreciated more contact with doctors.
"Good care, but not kept informed at Hallamshire"
