"My father is in hospital having ..."

About: Southampton General Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

My father is in hospital having treatment for his Kidneys and other medical conditions which include diarrhea , while he was in hospital he get a c-diff infection and he was moved to the IDU department. Tonight at 6pm a nurse came to inform him he was being moved to g ward to be with other people who had c-diff my father not wanting to be reinfected with c-diff ask to speak with the person who made that decision and that is where i found out that bulling is still alive in this hospital. He questioned about his health and the effect of moving of and also the risk of reinfection and i feel he was not listened to at all all they wanted was the bed at any cost after a short discussion my father decided that he would rather not move. That is when the way he was being treated changed i thought these people were professional but he is now being treated like a sub human for example instead of the nurses coming in and and chatting and having a little joke it is now a case of coming in dumping his medication and leaving this is wrong he is already at a low ebb after being in for over 5 weeks and this is not helping but i don't know what i can do
