I had colorectal surgery at NGH, staying on Firth 7 and then in post op unit. The colorectal surgery was in the Renal Unit.
We were treated with respected, the quick response from my GP, Dr. Roland, to the surgeon, Mr S N Amin. The way he explained to us what treatment I will be having, and that it will be a long journey.
I cannot complain about anything, I was treated very well.
The only time I was upset was the first time that I was admitted for formation of my ileal loop, I was discharged home, and two days after I was readmitted for dehydration and acute renal failure.
I would like to thank my GP, Dr. Roland for early referral and care. Also, Mr. S N Amin and his team. Also NGH consultants Dr Mc Caine of the renal unit and his team.
