Mum and I wanted to say thanks for your care. One Saturday in April mum was admitted to A&E at The University Hospital in Coventry. The A&E was very busy and running efficiently. Mum's symptoms were complex and initially had doctors puzzled, however by 12 midnight she had had a raft of tests including an MRI scan, been seen by the Consultant and the surgical team, and had an emergency operation.
Somewhat against the odds she has recovered fully, and was discharged home 2 week later.
We'd like to thank the A&E, Surgical Team, Anesthetists and all staff who looked after her so well.
Mum says she felt safe and well cared for and that she was struck by how clean the hospital is. I'd also like to thank mum's GP Practice (Dunchurch Surgery, Nr. Rugby) as prior to her admission they had reviewed and changed (simplified) her medicines. This meant that the hospital had one less thing to worry about.
