"Maternity Scanning at GRI"

About: The Princess Royal Maternity Unit / Maternity care (wards 68, 72 &73)

(as the patient),

We had a fantastic experience at our 12 week scan. The sonographer was called Maureen. The department was very busy but she explained everything very clearly and had the right balance of being chatty but professional. The clinic for bloods was also very busy but the member of staff who took my bloods was friendly and efficient.

I work in a small team within NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde. Part of the team’s role is to support patients and carers through our feedback systems which will help to improve the services we provide. On Patient Opinion, I support Lorna Gray, Patient Experience Public Involvement Project Manager, and Niall McGrogan, Head of Patient Experience Public Involvement.

Dear ccccc

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience on Patient Opinion. Firstly, congratulations and I am delighted to hear that everything is going well.

I will pass on your kind words to the staff at the Princess Royal Maternity Unit. I am pleased that despite being aware of how busy both departments you visited were, that you were made to feel comfortable and well informed about you care during your appointments.

Good luck with the remainder of your pregnancy.

Best wishes

Lisa
