"Roatater cuff repair"

About: Lancaster Hospital

On 12th January I had the above repair,

From the beginning of my referral in October 2015 I was treated with respect and as an individual.

I was admitted on the day of my fixed day for surgery and visited by my surgeon, anaesthetist and physio. The surgery was carried out expeditiously and pain afterwards dealt with attentively.

Altho listed for day surgery I had to stay overnight and the care and attention received when I could not sleep was insurpassable.

I left hospital with appointments for follow up and physio. My physio was very flexible to fit in with my work commitments.

6 weeks later I discarded my sling and 2 weeks after discharged from physio.

By the time I saw my surgeon on 1st April I had full movement in my shoulder.

I particularly appreciated an individual room with TV at no charge and ensuite facilities.

Being a person who is not easily satisfied I can say that the whole experience at BMI Lancaster made what was an unpleasant injury easier to bear.
