After been referred by my optition for very big floaters, had my surgery Monday 21St March. Very long wait for appointment 8 months, I got lost in the system along the line, had to ask optition to right again. Saw consultant in January, told me which procedure would be best for my problem ( victrectomy) had procedure done on 21st March, very professional staff, and care taken with me. Always kept informed while in waiting room.appointment was for 7.45am had surgery 10.35am last around 45 mins, the care I received was second to none, from every member of staff. Waited around 2 hours after opp to be released from hospital with medication I needed post surgery. Only a couple of days since opp, was told around a week before I would start to see improvement in my vision so can't can't comment on improvement yet, but no pain as such , just swollen and bloodshot at the moment so fingers crossed it continues like this, very big thank you to all staff involved.
