I was admitted to ward F5 via A&E for a perianal abscess on the 18th March in the morning.
From the Triage nurse who saw me in half an hour, to the Dr who examined me in the temporary bay, to the lovely nurse who wheeled me up to the ward, then all of the nurses who took care of me, the service is always outstanding - all within 3 hours.
The Anaesthetist and registrar surgeon were most reassuring.
Even the nurses who took me to theatre helped me feel more relaxed.
The consultant surgeon was most reassuring before and after surgery and didn’t mind answering all of the ten questions I had made a list of.
Prior to discharge one of the nurses made a saline bath for me and gave me plenty of fresh dressings to take home.
The ward is always clean.
The gluten free menu was great.
I just want to say thank you to everyone for taking such excellent care of me.
I really am most grateful and always feel so safe when I check in here.
This hospital is truly outstanding in every aspect including the staff.
I cannot express enough gratitude.
Thank you.
