Today I attended a spinal physiotherapy triage assessment following a rheumatology consultation on 02/02/16, i.e. 7 weeks ago. It was recommended that I attended this voluntary assessment to help speed-up my treatment. Fine sentiments but I was somewhat flabbergasted that today's physiotherapist & the rheumatologist had not even liaised over this appointment & the physiotherapist did not have my records or seen the report from the rheumatologist about my condition! The physiotherapist actually telephoned the rheumatologist during my assessment for my details. I've now got to see a clinical specialist on 14/04/16 to set-up some sort of treatment plan. Frustrating waste of time today but more importantly still no treatment in sight!
