"Life in the Dirrans centre."

About: Dirrans Centre

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I would just like to take this opportunity to give a special mention to the members of staff at the Dirrans centre in Kilwinning. The entire team within the Dirrans is very helpful and professional at what they do, the team are all very flexible and approachable and go out of their way to help each individual. There is different groups every day and they try to personalise them to each individual, even though at times this is difficult they always listen to service users ideas, doing consultations and forum groups.

I would like to add that the centre as building is exceptional, as it is designed for all abilities it has all the facilities and space that you could hope for within a day care facility, there is also a huge garden, all the service users are encouraged to visit regularly and to look after It themselves and the garden as a whole is fully accessible which provides inclusion for each and every service user. I would like to make a special mention for the service manager Nanette, without her commitment, passion and drive none it would be here and we would not be able to enjoy the centre as we do today.
