I attended Kings Cross HCC on last week to seek assistance from the Audiology department in retrieving a missing 'Dome', from my left ear hearing aid. I suspected the Dome had detached earlier and was lodged in my ear canal. The reception staff immediately sought assistance from the Audiology department whereupon a Clinical Physiologist, Mr Ahmed, quickly escorted me to a treatment room where, with the aid of his Otoscope, confirmed the Dome was within the canal and then quickly removed it with surgical tweezers. He then kindly replaced the tubes and domes for both my hearing aids.
I wish to thank the Kings Cross reception staff and Mr Ahmed for their swift intervention and for the excellent treatment received.
"Excellent treatment"
