"They lost my shoes almost THREE months ago....."

I came into hospital in mid-December, in 6 days I was in 5 different beds; the first night I was moved at 1.30 a.m. - and that was the last time I saw my shoes. I was not given a property list to sign, and the nurses packed my bag, which was put on my bed while they moved it (I was moved in a wheelchair). When I discovered the loss 2 days later, I was helped to fill in a 'Claim for lost property'; it is now 4th March, and it still hasn't been dealt with, although I have phoned numerous times and emailed twice. I have asked Customer Services if there is anyone I can complain to - but that would go straight back to them, which is no help.
