Took my mother to A&E at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital on the evening of Wednesday 2nd March 2016. We arrived at around 10pm and within about 5 minutes my mother was taken in and seen by the triage nurse. By the symptoms my mother showed the nurse acted immediately and my mother was taken straight through to cubicle 11 and hooked up to the monitors. At all times we were treated with great respect and we were informed of what was happening. My mother was seen by a doctor almost straight away and I can't begin to thank them enough. I was there with my mother all night and the attitude of the staff members that night was excellent and I can't thank them enough for what they did for my mother and myself. They treated me well also and made me drinks. A lot of people put the A&E department down but all I can say is that even though they were extremely busy and have lots of turnover we were never kept waiting and there was always somebody to help out and talk to. My mother is now on a ward in the hospital. Thank you A&E
