"Need more drs to reduce long waiting times"

About: Russells Hall Hospital / Dudley Urgent Care Centre

Arrived at 16.30 with my daughter, told waiting time was hour and half. Sat waiting for over half an hour and saw others walking down corridor so asked receptionist who I registered with if I was in right place and they said sorry they hadn't told me to go down corridor. Got to urgent care centre and luckily hadn't lost place. First impressions were not enough seats as patients sitting on floor, cleanliness wasn't very good, daughter went to use unisex toilet but it was filthy so she decided against it. Only 2 drs on duty. One dr didn't start until 17.50 only saw 3 patients in an hour then went off to get bottle of coke and snacks at 18.45.

We eventually were called in at 19.10 and dr was very good and explained in detail what condition was, treatment advised and given leaflet. Definitely need more drs on duty, more chairs and perhaps some signage stating what waiting times are then patients can decide if they wish to wait
