I had a heart attack which resulted in an Angioplasty and two stents at the Northern General.
I stayed on Chesterman 2 and was later transferred to Chesterman 1, the best thing was the nursing care.
The food was not very tempting also I would have preferred a single sex ward, though I was never particularly embarrassed in the mixed ward.
Just after having surgery I found the amount of visitors (6) around my bed caused me to feel anxious and intimidated and this didn't help my recovery. I feel that the 2 visitors to a bed rule is being ignored, also some of the visitors use the patient only toilets.
