For the past few months my boyfriend has been getting bad palpations and feeling dizzy with his whole body shaking from doing exercise. Couple of times a paramedic came round and said the hospital can't do anything as just a panic attack. Then it got worse as it happened when he was asleep. Still did not go to hospital.
Then we were walking slowly in town and it happened then was taken to hospital. They then said it was a panic attack and to go to GP. He went to GP and he said it can't be panic attack as it happing while your exercising.
Got referral to cardiologist. By now he has been dizzy constantly for two weeks. Then last night while watching a film he had a vibrate feeling in chest then he got very dizzy and heart started racing. There was one extra symptom now crushing pain in chest. He got taken to hospital. He had all the basic ECG, chest x-ray, bloods all back fine apparently. He was screaming in pain. And it took hours before pain medicine.
Even though he was in agony no one came over. I was the one who kept calling them over. God knows what would have happened if I was not there. I was sent home and he stayed till next day. He then told me they said he was mental and it was a panic attack. How can it be a panic attack when he was in pain?
Nowhere does it say panic attack are painful. I have looked online where people have been fobbed off as panic attacks then died of cardiac arrest. Soon as we mention this, we were told that we should not look online. They are the doctors and apparently they know best. I am at the end of me tether do not know what to do.
