I had a heart attack in June and was sent to the Northern General, where I was admitted on to Chesterman 2 ward.
I was treated efficiently from admission, the staff nurse on duty in the Medical Assessment Unit was very helpful and considerate.
However, one of the doctors failed to use gloves whilst taking blood. Also although drinking water was changed regularly, the glass used was not changed or washed.
Despite this I think all the staff on C were very good. Thank you to all the nurses in the Medical Assessment Unit and the female doctor.
