I have catteract problem in as much as the optametrist who inspected my eyes after my right eye operation in May 2015 informed me that my left eye no longer meets the criterion to operate.after a long discussion and being told my eye sight is better than theirs left me wondering what are they doing inspecting my eyes if their sight is so poor ? They did eventually change their mind and a consent form appeared which they completed and I signed for the completion of my two eye procedure which was agreed with my consultant who I would add was extremely efficient in the work done to my right eye. I have now had a further phone call from the optametrist telling me I am not going to have the left eye operation after another long discussion they told me not to worry and I should see the doctor again and now must wait until July 9th for a meeting for yet another inspection .I find the way I am being treated must disturbing, and the arranging of transport back and forward from Cannock is also a costly and difficult problem for me which as been going on for over 2years for inspections in the outpatient department under the doctor for my eye conditions.I also cancelled a important knee operation to get eyes sorted out, big mistake I await your findings. Regards RS.
