Have forwarded a letter to Chief Executive of St Peters to thank particularly the Consultant and their team for the way in which they dealt with my wife who fell and broke her wrist for the second time while we were in Cyprus.
We would also like to point out the thoughtfulness and care provided by a particular nurse and all the staff in Swan Ward while she was in Recovery overnight.
Briefly visited G P , referred to St Peters seen within a week and appointment following
Monday with the Consultant to operate and insert a "plate"
The Consultant is a consummate professional with excellent inter personal skills.( Are you still allowed to say great bedside manners) This rubs off on their staff who show great personal attention in a very busy centre.
My wife arrived in recovery with no feeling in her arm, a great sense of anxiety and some degree of nausea.
The Nurse gave reassurance, medication and changed dressings well after their shift had finished.
Doctors visited over night .Physio came and helped Christine to regain feeling.
Next afternoon she was discharged but not before the nurse had been to the Pharmacy to collect her medication and dressings.
Would like to thank all concerned.
Only black mark the Carpark Well I suppose we can't have everything.
"Broken wrist repaired for second time."
