My son has been attending the Royal Orthopaedic for nearly 5 years now for treatment of his scoliosis. Starting with casting at age 3 and then MAGEC rods at 4.
The treatment he receives every time we attend is amazing. The receptionist always recognises him when we go for his lengthenings. The consultants who do the stretching make him feel safe and at ease. The lovely lady who did the casting even visited him after he'd had his operation.
On ward 11 they treat everyone like family. For a children's ward which must be so hard and difficult at times for the nurses/doctors and ward staff, the care received is truly amazing!
"The care received is truly amazing!"
