What I liked
I like that the hospital is local - but not so much the travelling between three sites for treatment/appointments.
What could be improved
No one ever answers the phone! Communication is appalling across the three sites but particularly St Albans and Hemel. I waiting for two hours for my appointment at Hemel, to find I had been booked into the wrong clinic. Another hour at St Albans to find I had been sent to the wrong hospital and another appointment in Hemel where they didn't have any notes. Finally got an appointment in Watford some eight months after first being referred - and that was supposed to be urgent!
Follow up appointments are ridiculous. I have had a scan and blood tests but can't get an appointment until the end of February...
Anything else?
The phone system is just stupid. I spent three days ringing a number on a letter, when I finally got a response they said I needed to ring the other hospital....
