"Appreciation of Dermatology Team"

My grateful thanks to the team for the treatment of a potentially troublesome mole on my skin. In the midst of all the distractions of the Christmas season I am so glad that I took the time to visit my G.P who arranged a prompt New Year's Eve referral which led to some minor surgery performed by reassuring staff, and a fortnight later the welcome news delivered by a wonderfully understanding specialist that I was ok. In return for their care and attention

I promise I've learnt the lesson - I will be careful in the sun, and never again ignore a mole that gets bigger, darker, changes shape, itches or bleeds. Thanks again to the A- team !

Thank you for your praise of the Dermatology team, I will certainly pass them along to the Sister to share with her staff.

I am sure it made for a worrying time over the Christmas period and I am pleased to hear your GP was able to get you an appointment so swiftly leading to minor surgery followed by the good news that all was well.

As you say it pays to be vigilant and head the warnings of the specialists and I thank you for sharing the advice you were given in the hope that it will encourage others to be as vigilant as you were.

It is pleasing to hear that you found the manner of the staff to be understanding and reassuring both during the minor surgery and afterwards when they were able to share the welcome news with you.

I hope that the wound has healed nicely and wish you well for the future.
