Took my daughter after she contacted 111 who advised she attended ASAP I worked for the NHS all my working life so don't attend A&E lightly , but after triage she was sent straight through, bloods, brain scan done very quickly. She was confirmed that nothing serious had occurred but couldn't explain the weird symptoms she had suffered. Took a few days to get better, but fortunately she recovered. The people who helped her from receptionists, triage nurse, doctor, porters, were all efficient and kind. I have worked overnight in an out of hours call centre covering doctors surgeries patients and I loved helping people, we were based locally and I also had my main job working in a surgery and somethings patients I knew rang in and they were so grateful to talk to someone who knew them. I can't thank A&E enough for such thorough care for my special child (I know she's 34) but she's still my baby.
