My granddaughter cut open her forehead down to the bone by tripping onto a sharp rock on Oyster Beach, Paignton. We had to run up the steep cliff, whilst phoning for an ambulance which came promptly and took her to Torbay A&E. Everything was ready for her when she arrived, I understand that the consultant paediatrician was on hand immediately with the relevant nursing attention. The injury was dealt with and she was discharged perhaps within a couple of hours. She was even given a gift of a doll (probably from the Friends of Torbay Hospital? ) which had been left over from Christmas Day. So many thanks to the 999 service, the Ambulance service, the Friends and to Torbay A&E.
"Many thanks"
