"Not sure if it would be an OK hospital"

I had never been to the QE Hospital at Gateshead but the alternative for my area for the procedure was miles away.

I was in for a surprise, I went to Endoscopy and found a well organised out patients department. I was kept informed of everything that was going on from start to finish.

Each member of staff introduced themselves and their role and a nurse was at hand the whole way through

As an RGN I was impressed
