"Thanks for taking great care of my mother"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Emergency Medicine

(as a relative),

She collapsed whilst we on holiday in Fettercairn Scotland. She was taken to Forest Hills Hospital Aberdeen A & E.

I can only say that the professionalism and all round care were exemplary, delivered by a very polite and cheerful group of people.

She was admitted to ward 103, and again the care was excellent.

All of the staff she experienced were helpful, polite and seem to find no task to difficult to do. I believe we experienced a well motivated group of medical practitioners who worked as a very close knit community with a very high degree of teamwork.

I cannot praise the staff highly enough and am sincerely grateful for making a very traumatic event to us easier to bear.

Many, many thanks for taking time to post your feedback, especially at this busy time of the year.

All the staff at Foresterhill work very hard, all year long and it will be great for them to hear that they are so appreciated.

You mention professionalism, teamwork, quality of care, positive staff demeanour and motivation. This helps us to have a better understanong of what matters to patients and families. I am so glad we were able to deliver such a positive experience for all concerned.

Hopefully your mum is on the mend now.

Thank you for the response. The tone and sentiments reinforce my opinion that this organisation is well motivated and keen to do their best to help all patients feel reassured in what for them is a worrying time. In my experience dealing efficiently with all issues professionally even the most minor items is an indicator of a well motivated team. I am very grateful for all the staffs efforts. On behalf of my mother and family we wish you all the seasons best wishes and again a very sincerely felt thank you.
