A crushed leg had to have the bones reset. I always felt involved in the treatment and the fact that the consultant changed his mind about the operation once or twice after discussing it with colleagues was heartening [it was a complex injury],
The care in the ward was brilliant. The staff were attentive, thoughtful and very professional. Both wards were very well run.
