I was admitted to A&E yesterday evening after passing out and vomitting at DLR Cutty Sark station as I had a history of heart problems. The paramedics were fantastic and nothing seemed too much trouble. My friend, who was with me, was allowed to accompany me in the ambulance and was allowed to stay with me in the bay.The doctors and nurses in A&E were very reassuring, helpful and informative. I was examined soon after I arrived and after an ECG, blood tests and blood pressure readings I was informed that everything was alright and it was nothing to do with my heart. I was allowed to go home after 4 hours of thorough a thorough examination. Full marks to everyone.
