"Excellent care at Pulross centre"

Dear Sarndra

My mum has been at the Pulross Centre for a while now and l wanted you to know how much l appreciate how kind and caring all the staff are not to just my mum but to all the patients.

My mum needs encouragement to eat so l am there every evening for dinner and sit with her. l see many of the patients in the dining room and it is a credit to you all, the friendly atmosphere where patients wave to each other and chat, there are other patients who also need that encouragement to eat and the nurses are so good with them all and this also extends to Liz And Sally who are are in the kitchen. They give there time to also encourage the ones that need help and even though l am there with my mum she is still included by everybody.

Over this time l have seen patients wheeled into the dining room in wheel chairs and watched them progress to walking with a Zimmer frame, and the praise that is given to them again from everybody, staff and patients is lovely to see. And credit to the Occupational Therapists who make this happen. I have met Rae, and again so kind and patient.

When l am with my mum having a cup of tea in the evening in the dining room Elias always says hello and doesn't make us feel like we are in the way when we most probably are!

When l was told my mum was coming to Pulross l had never heard of it so as you do l googled for some information and l read two reviews which where very negative and l was really worried and scared for my mum. So I wanted to redress as these reviews have no relevance to The Pulross centre and all the staff.

Since my mum has been with you l have peace of mind knowing she is safe and happy l have not had that for a very long time and l cannot thank you all enough for giving this to me.

I thank you all for the care and kindness everybody has for all your patients.

I thank you for all the support you have given me with my mum which l needed so much.

I want to thank each and everyone of the staff and l really can name you all because you are all so friendly kind caring and welcoming. My mum and myself are priveliged to have met you all.

The Pulross centre is a credit to the NHS. Everybody who works there should be proud, you are a great team.

The Nurses, l could name them all because they make you so welcome, but it would take up a lot of space! )
