My two children now aged 15 and 16, suffer from severe hay fever.

The doctor has been their consultant for many years and after several treatments they advised me of a two year desensitisation programme that may help them. The doctor explained that you take one Grazax tablet per day for two years and that the programme was predominantly offered to adults. The doctor further explained that the medication was expensive and the children must be completely committed to taking a tablet every day for two years to benefit from the programme.

My children were so poorly with their hay fever symptoms that we decided to give it a try as nothing else had helped them.

They have recently finished their first year on the programme and their symptoms have reduced drastically. They have a much better quality of life and are able to concentrate on their studies, whereas before, their hay fever symptoms affected them physically and mentally. They are now much happier and healthier children and we cannot thank the doctor enough for their expertise and genuine help and understanding.

This is an example of a health professional that really cares about their patients and someone who is passionate about developing their service. We wish the doctor and their team every success in expanding their service to enable them to help many other children suffering from the same dreadful hayfever symptoms. Thank you.????
