"Superb treatment by superb NHS staff in..."

From start to finish was superb. I was given an admission date and from then on it was like clockwork.I was in for total knee replacement of right leg and was met at reception by friendly,efficient staff.

Nurses who came tio prepare and inform me of the procedure were thorough and helpful.

Theatre staff was reassuring and anaethatist first class with epidural delivered with little discomfort.

Surgery was a great success and visits by the surgeon to discuss x ray results and surgery results was reassuring and humbling. I was a little worried to hand my leg over to someone I'd only met at pro op level but needn' t have been.

Care on the ward was first class by all staff involved,food was good and all needs taken care of from pain relief to cuppas.

I''ve just been discharged on 29th Oct with a pack of information and appointments made by hard working ward staff for future home visits etc.

I'm busy doing exercises given by the excellent physiological team who gave me confidence for the first steps.
