"Insensitive midwife"

About: Huddersfield Royal Infirmary / Maternity

(as the patient),

The midwife who came after I gave birth (not my usual one as she was on holiday) turned up with two other people and proceeded to tell me I wasn't breastfeeding properly, my boobs were too saggy.

It affected my confidence to breastfeed and has a lasting negative affect on my body confidence ever since. She really needs to learn how not to speak to people.

Also turning up with 2 extra people unannounced is not appropriate for a first visit to a new mum who has only given birth a few days ago. It felt as though I was being ganged up on and barked instructions at.
