"Superb Patient Care"

Following a GP appointment I was referred to Cannock for an X-ray, which I went to this morning, where I was treated superbly by all of the members of staff. It appeared that my GP had forgotten to sign the instruction for my X-ray & rather than send me away, the young assistant informed me of the error & went out of their way to contact my surgery & obtain the Dr's signature so that I could have my X-Ray.

I didn't get to thank the member of staff personally before I left but I was very grateful for the way they dealt with the whole situation.

I know they were doing their job but it made me feel cared about.

I also want to say that it was lovely to be listened to & taken seriously when I explained my concerns & requests to the radiographer. They took time to listen & not dismiss my thoughts before they did their job and x-rayed my shoulder.

In both instances I felt was important and not just a statistic.
