What could be improved
the level of care on 5 diffrent occasions my family have been to a+e and been wrongly diagnosed the first being my 2 year old son who we were told had over exerted his arm it was only when our own gp seen it and he sent us back did they x-ray it and find it to be broke my partner over18 mnts has been repeatedly with chronic back pain andhas been sent home with an apparent cracked pelvis ligament damage pulled muscles which 18 mnths later turnedout to be a slipped disk he was operated on at hope hospital and after being discharged developed numbness and servere pain in his legs and feet we sat in a+e for hours and the doctor that come said "you were warned of the risks which include increased pain andnumbness its something your going to have to live with you would of signed a consent form" 3 days later we phoned our gp and he spoke to the surgen who seen him within 48 hours gave him a emergency mri scan and my partner is now having emergency spinal surgery at 6 in the morning i will not be leaving the matter its an absolute disgracethe way my partner has been treated and leftf two the point he was talking about killing him self because he could not bear the pain we was told when we first arrived at the hospital that he would proberly be transferd to hope hospital because he needed to see a neurosugean but this never happend now if a gp can see there is something wrong why can't a a+e consultant???? and it was also made known to a+e it washope hospital that had told us to get a ambulance straight to hospital wythenshawe being the nearest thats where we were taken you should be ashamed of yourselves
