After failing to complete my 1st MRI due to pain and being a little agoraphobic I got about 1/2 way through but couldn't proceed due not being able to keep still due to pain. I was given advice to return to my GP for pain relief & something to help with agoraphobia.
I returned to the MRI room today I was meet by a very pleasant person indeed they seemed to be so understanding and completely put me at ease as far as going to the top of the machine to show me wasn't completely enclosed and explaining they would be app 15min & be as quick as possible also not putting the face mask on saying it wasn't needed this also helped a lot . There was also another person who seemed to be operating the machine who was also very pleasant keeping me in touch with what was happening. please thank these very pleasant people for making things so much easier.
Ps I also suffer from depression and this sort of compassion mean so much at times of stress
