"The district nurses have been fantastic"

About: Community Nursing Services / Mansfield Community Nursing

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

After the death of my husband, nurses noticed I wasn’t coping well. Christy referred me to the mental health nurse specialist Dean who visited me and spoke about how I was feeling.

Dean made me feel like I wanted to carry on and helped me to remember good times I had with my husband. I was feeling really low and he made me feel normal again. The district nurses at Hardwick have been fantastic and I could not have managed without them. They’re all fantastic.
