I called today to find out when I might have an appointment at the Rapid Access Chest Pain Clinic (A referral was faxed on 1st September). I had called at the beginning of the week and was told that the time from referral to appointment would be no more than 14 days and that I would receive a telephone call the day before the appointment. Today is the last day of the week that contact could be made by the clinic to fulfil the 14 day lead time( which expires Monday).
I have repeated called cardiology and the phone was not answered despite a 19 minute wait( it was not engaged it was ringing the whole time). Switchboard put me through to the relevant secretary's phone- no answer. Switchboard then tried to put me through to PALS Guess what. Yes, there was no answer.
I have to say that this is appalling, fortunately the person on the switchboard was most professional and helpful
How do I contact anyone at Stepping Hill?
Oh and by the way your "A little more information " is not appropriate beacause I can't get an appointment - What a shambles
"No one answering telephones cardiology or PALS"
