You get bounced around departments that cannot communicate with each-other at all. Worse still, you spend 8 years in their care for them to do little or nothing for you and try to discharge you, or refer you back to your GP when you need the care most!
When not trying to discharge you they try to force medication on you and are unpleasant when you tell them you are unwilling to try even more meds (they've had me on at least 10 variations, of medication ramping them up so high in some cases that most pharmacies refuse to dispense them!)
What's worse, having said they don't feel they can do much for you while pregnant and will refer you back to GP in mean-time, they don't! They leave you for two months all on your own till you figure it out yourself. Sadly the GP surgery are no better, they say they will get in touch to find out what is going on with your care and don't bother either.
They can't even put together a functional crisis plan with you. It relies entirely on other people around you to A) Notice and B) spend the next 12 hours on a metal bench in A&E waiting to be seen, before relying on them again to do suicide watch when they send you home with a feeble 5mg Diazepam as they have no beds left on the ward.
How this is considered acceptable I fail to see.
Failure on all scores there Richmond NHS..well done. You have managed to actually be Detrimental to my health in your efforts.
